Kaal E Suktae's Spring/Summer 2013 collection is all about white. Let's not get into the whole Memorial Day question—people wear orange before Halloween and pastels before Easter. But I will say that the timing suddenly feels right for wearing white. And this is how to do it. Seoul-based designer Lee Suk Tae contrasts crisp white cotton with bright poster-paint-colored trims and uses it as a blank canvas for interesting textures. My favorite piece, an all-white jacket, takes a perfect boxy denim jacket shape to another level with latticed arms, a subtly striped back, and monochrome hardware. And you know how red lipstick makes you teeth look white? The same rule applies here. On Kaal E Suktae's sleeveless blouse, blocks of red satin plus a diamond-textured white silk equal mega-watt shine.
