Favorite song to sing at noraebang: I sing mostly oldies... unless it's "Gangnam Style" (it's so easy to sing!)
I aspire to dress as well as: I don't really have a favorite person as my taste changes on a daily basis. Even if I come across someone who dresses extraordinarily nice, he/she will only be an inspiration for that moment. After all, "dressing well" can mean a lot of things.
Favorite restaurant: Jinmi Restaurant in Mapo—they serve the fattiest soy sauce crabs in town!
Favorite art gallery: The small Hanok ones in Samcheongdong.
Favorite Pojangmacha (street food cart) or boonshick (street snack): Dduckbokki with tempura, hands down.
Favorite noraebang: Su with the huge windows on the main street of Hongdae.
Favorite place for a weekend escape: Anywhere outside of Seoul for some fresh air, nature, and authentic Korean food. The last place I went to was Chooncheon where I ate some serious chicken BBQ.
Where do you go to get the best shaved ice? Homilbaht near Ewha University—their milk shaved ice is a must, even if that means waiting in scorching heat for an hour.
Where do you go to get the best Dduckbokki? This tiny little shop near Kondae called Modurang. You can't go wrong with a place that's been around for 30 years!![]()
