OC Blog contributors Alice Barlow and Rachelyn Remz-Porter recount the fun of last weekend's Coachella!

What can we say about Weekend One of Coachella? Well, I think it's pretty safe to say that we had fun. A LOT of mother-effing fun. Let us put it to y'all this way: Rachel cried during like, seven different performances out of pure joy; I got to see my favorite person on planet Earth in a surprise performance (yes, it's R. Kelly––don't judge me, yo. He's a lyrical genius.); and there were two times that the VIP bar ran out of Jameson, and we are 70-85% sure that we were directly responsible. And that doesn't even include the booze that we drank backstage, or in the VIP rose garden. So yeah. That amount of fun. With that said, there are a lot of magical moments that we just simply don't remember. It's not like a full-on harsh blackout, more of like a soft grayout. But luckily for our aching and forgetful brains, we happened to bring along a camera and our phones. Check out some of our recovered memories below.

Not pictured remembered memories: Alice chasing after Jesse Metcalfe, asking him what it was like to work with Ashanti in John Tucker Must Die (Rachel remembers this, Alice not so much). Rachel attempting (and failing) to stop Alice from chasing after anyone. Alice telling Rachel, "Don't worry, I can puke while running," while booking it to Hanni El Khatib's set. Hayden Tobin from Hanni El Khatib kicking over a stool while going into a guitar solo during his set (SO rehearsed, bro). Sara Honey Nataf showing us her boobs (surprising!). Rachel trying to fake like she was not dying when she met Kurt Vile. Anthony Kiedis laughing at Alice's Ed Hardy lighter (IT WAS A GIFT).

And the award for Best Coachella Style goes to BEN & LAUREN RAYNER

Pretty ladies: Ioanna from IO ECHO and Kaylie from Guards

Le sigh. So dreamy.

Blake from Workaholics and homies Rachael, Shanon, and Annette chilling at our home away from home (the bar).

Apparently, this is how Brits react to Blur. Alexa and Rob from Florence and The Machine.

Um, is it weird that we cried when we saw how much the crowd loved our boys from Tanlines?

Hanni El Khatib shreddddddding.

Hayden from Hanni El Khatib celebrating said shreddddddding.

Yasi rules.

Isa from Florence and The Machine looking sad, probably because the bar was out of Jameson.
