Stop whatever you're doing and take a second to honor the birthday of a 90s silver screen, teen dream queen. The daughter of a TV exec., Melissa Joan Hart hit the silver screen at the tender age of four and for the first half of the 90s, provided a life guide for a generation of girls, playing the titular role in Clarissa Explains It All. Pre-adolescent Clarissa encounters such issues as pimples, crushes, and homework—all while sporting a flurry of multi-colored scrunchies, denim, and Doc Martens.

By 1995, Melissa had matured into the role of everyone’s favorite sorceress, Sabrina Spellman. In Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, our girl navigates high school and later college, with the help of her witty warlock-turned-cat Salem and hunky love interest, Harvey. We watched on for seven seasons as Sabrina struggles with her magical powers and bickers with the coolest aunts around. Melissa closed out the millennium starring in Drive Me Crazy alongside Adrian Grenier. (The pair made a legendary cameo in Britney Spears’ music video for "(You Drive Me) Crazy," which appears on the soundtrack.)
