Last week Zoe Latta, one half of Eckhaus Latta, dropped by OCLA, where the line's Spring/Summer 2013 collection is now on the racks. After telling the team about the collection's materials—translucent leather, ripstop nylon, woven Moroccan rag rug—and her favorite food spot in LA (a taco truck in a Walgreen's parking lot in Echo Park), Zoe called in her friend filmmaker Alexa Karolinski to shoot an exclusive short for Opening Ceremony. Below, Alexa captures the spring pieces in action on a mystery model. Alexa is a longtime Eckhaus collaborator; she created a unique video installation at OCNY for the Fall/Winter 2012 collection and "Uniform Exercises," her amazing film of Chinatown ladies working out in the pieces, screened on Nowness last summer. See her latest video below and shop the Eckhaus Latta collection at Opening Ceremony's New York and Los Angeles stores.
