Since the Lovely Bad Things album The Late Great Whatever came out in February, we've had it on STRAIGHT REPEAT. I mean "Fried Eyes" is our mother-effing jam, son! So we were totally hyped that we got to catch up with our LBT buddies recently at SXSW, since they're going to be gone for like, the entire summer, on tour with Best Coast. I mean that's rad and all, but we are selfish and wish we could have them all to ourselves for dreamy backyard BBQ's and beer-shotgunning competitions. Oh well, at least we got to down some brewskies with Cameron, Braydon, Lauren and Tim—hopefully we won't miss them too hard. Here are some drunken questions that we asked them one day. Or night. They're all the same at SXSW.
Buddy Holly or ZZ Top?
Cameron: I like Buddy Holly, but since we are in Texas, I choose ZZ Top.
Braydon: Everytime I hear ZZ Top's "Legs," I get pretty close to naked. But Buddy Holly was the first person to play a colored guitar.
Lauren: "She's got legs, she knows how to use them."
Tim: I'm going to do Buddy Holly.
