OC x LFW: Ryan Lo FW13

In his "I push doors which clearly say pull" Fall/Winter 2013 collection, Ryan Lo takes the idea of the desperate single career woman driven by deadlines and goals, and transforms her into a crazed-yet-cool woman on the edge. Lo sites Bridget Jones, Ally McBeal, and the Japanese anime series Sailor Moon as points of reference, and the part-tragic character, part-superhero theme was strong throughout. Tulles were amped up with knits, lamé, furs, and pearls, while volume was abundant. All in all, there was no shortage of extravagance in the wardrobe of this hard-lined businesswoman-gone-mad.
