OC x LFW: KTZ FW13

Cult London-based label KTZ presented its Fall/Winter 2013 collection today, kicking off day one of London Fashion Week. Inspired by black magic and witchcraft, designers Marjan Pejoski (Creative Director) and Koji Maruyama (Head of Design) drew on Major Arcana, the first sequence of the tarot that depicts 22 forms of human existence. The symbolic universe of Major Arcana informed the looks, each one representing a tarot card.

Set to the music of Diplo, the show took us on a journey where The Craft met rubber, fur patchwork, metallics, three-dimensional embroidered leather, and an overflow of prints (on prints on prints). Topping off the collection were amazing wearable sculptured headpieces by Rein Vollenga. The show once again reminded us of why KTZ is so well-respected as a design duo, and it might even make you want to dust off your Ouija board.
