Behind the Scenes: Rollerblading on the DKNY x OC Video Set

The week before we shot the 90s rollerblading DKNY Exclusively for OC video at Fast Ashley's in Williamsburg, everyone kept asking me if the models knew how to rollerblade. "Of course they do! Everyone can rollerblade!" I responded optimistically. Which ended up being true, more or less, especially after a morning spent coaching our lovely models Dana, Sissi, and Hawa. Sorry to be all predictable, but OC fave Brazilian skater boy Mateus was actually pretty pro already. Once the giant Opening Ceremony backdrop was in place and all our skaters were wearing head-to-toe DKNY for OC looks, we let them loose under the direction of KT Auleta. You haven't seen anything until you've seen these kids do the conga-line on skates.
