When does work end and play begin? For Assembly New York designer Greg Armas’ fall collection, all work and no play was not going to cut it, so he examined a way to combine the two.
This isn't your standard take on day-to-night dressing, though. Greg's idea manifest itself through men's tuxedos tailored from athletic stretch twills and double breasted, knee-length vests that look as comfortable as a bathrobe. What this really created was a collection of sharp, semi-formal separates in fabrics that make you want to dress the part of someone much more pulled together than your lazy self may want to be.
It’s as if someone took the concept of jeggings and leveraged it into something far more thought-out than a pair of spandex jeans. And for that, Greg, I salute you.
