OC x London Collections: Men - Lou Dalton's Camera Diary

In the bustle before London Collections: Men, we dispatched cameras to a handful of OC designers. The aim: to see how many snacks, coffee runs, and late-night pizzas go into making a collection. So now that we've seen what came down the catwalks, it's time to take a peek behind the scenes!

Gillian Tozer: Hello Lou! Oil field acquisitions never looked so smart! Local Hero is now at the top of my Netflix queue. Thanks for sharing the camera diary of your FALL/WINTER collection. Do you and the team have any pre-show traditions?
Lou Dalton: Just before the show, I receive a whole bunch of CDs from the marvelous Jim Stanton, one part of Horse Meat Disco. The tracks are the studio playlist throughout the weeks leading up to the show and one or two of these will end up being used as the show music. 

GT: Do you have a favorite piece from the collection?
LD: There are several: I love the heavy Shetland wools, the mélange mohair knits, the printed tartan, the oilskin, and the forest green used on the parka and gillet.

GT: How did you and the team celebrate after the show?
LD: We all met up at my local pub, The Charles Lamb, in Islington and drank lots of prosecco!
