Postalco founder Mike Abelson invented his own crazy contraption to print these notebooks with their deckchair stripes. Inspired by the marks left on a piece of paper trapped under the sliding door in his Tokyo home, Mike wondered about the marks that other wheels could make—what would painted bicycle tires produce, for example? And so he created the Wheel Printer. Made from an assortment of differently sized and patterned wheels, the hand-operated printer allows Mike and the Postalco team to crank through any of its stationery and create a one-of-a-kind print. See it in action in the video below: in go our favorite pocket-size notebooks and out come crisscrossing candy stripes. Choose from A5, A6, and A7, and may your scribblings be just as colorful!
