Zine Dream: The 8-Ball Zine Fair

Yesterday there was much to see and hear at the 8-BALL ZINE FAIR, which took place in Manhattan's Koreatown. The fair featured some of the finest art publishers around––Dashwood, Ed Varie, Études, Horses Think, Hamburger Eyes, Sems, Jason Polan, Swill Children, No Work, Hassla, Pau Wau, Peradam, Toilet Paper Mag, and more––as well as a video installation by Bill Strobeck, a zine set curated by Lele Saveri, and DJ sets by Radio Lily, Fuck This Life, and J.R. A spiritual healing mini-zine by Tim Maia's congregation (Maia was a great Brazilian singer of the 60s and 80s) at the Luaka Bop table is just one example of the strange and rather exotic publications available at the event. Have a look at our finds below.
