Our favorite contemporary designers and their influences are no exception. This season, we asked designers to photograph the people, places, or objects that inspired their Fall/Winter 2012 collections. Who is your muse? Beautiful creatures (Confetta, Lyndsy Welgos, and Akeem Smith)
Describe the first time you met: We laughed a lot and continued to hang out.
How do they influence you? They make me smile.
What’s the relationship between designer and muse? They help you express your work.
Does your inspiration change from season to season? It changes slightly but I keep the concept of the design.
Have you and your muse ever worked collaboratively? Yes, on a lot of projects. I like their perspective of my work.
What is your favorite thing to do together? LOL
