OCNY's Kathleen Tso chronicles last weekend's FFF music festival in Austin, TX.

Last week I managed to escape NYC to my hometown of Austin for the Fun Fun Fun music fest. The trip couldn't have come at a better time for a Texan still adjusting to a chilly New York November: 70-degree weather and a weekend full of live music, old friends, and Tex-Mex were the perfect cure. In addition to the artists on the bill (which included Run DMC, Santigold, A$AP Rocky, Araabmuzik, Rakim, Schoolboy Q, Atlas Sound, and Paul Banks of Interpol), the festival represented all of what is good in Austin, with vintage vendors, a plethora of food trucks of the city's favorites from Hey Cupcake sweet treats to artisan sausage purveyor Frank, skate ramps for skateboarders and BMX riders, and four stages featuring all music genres and even comedians. See what went down during my time in the Live Music Capital!
