Rome Is Where the Heart Is: Delfina Delettrez Fall/Winter 2012

Rome is home for Delfina Delettrez. And for her latest collection she let her imagination run wild in the Eternal City. 
"The collection was inspired by Rome's statues, architecture, and marble," she explains. "I imagined coming across pieces of ancient Roman ruins!" And so silver columns, marble, and gold filigree create a rich new setting for Delfina's signature motifs this fall. Much-loved details like enameled eyes top wearable pieces of classical architecture, and bees balance on balls made of striped onyx and agate. Delfina even imagined those little painted finger details we know and love as "the missing fingers from the statues you see walking around the city."
