Did you know OC at Ace's next-door neighbors, No. 7 Sub, have a breakfast menu too? Their early morning subs are a much better alternative to the plain ol' donut and coffee.
The General Tso's soft-boiled fried egg sandwich (my favorite) takes a little bit longer to make than the other sandwiches, since they deep fry the eggs after soft-boiling them. But it's well worth the wait. The crispy fried eggs then get tossed in a special sauce before they're laid open-faced on toasted bread, and topped off with thinly sliced pickes, mayo, and arugula.
The broccoli, egg & cheese (Diane's fave) is slathered with the perfect pesto sauce. And the kielbasa sandwich (another masterpiece) is made with thickly cut slices of sausage. Each of the sandwiches goes through the toaster conveyor belt. The best part is that all the subs are only $5 or less!
