Just a guy, his boat, and the ocean. Does that sound familiar? For fall, N. Hoolywood made shirts, coats, pants, and vests (with no adjectives) inspired by Ernest Hemingway. Designer Daisuke Obana based pieces on Hemingway's own wardrobe staples—military uniforms from his younger years and shirts and cardigans from his time in Cuba—but spliced them with references to The Old Man and the Sea. The result is a collection of charismatic clothing suitable for all generations of adventurers, fishermen, and bar-lovers. Find yellow canvas coats, leather motorcycle jackets, and a very handsome three-piece check suit by N. Hoolywood's more tailored second line, Compile—all best worn with a beard.
