There's a lot of competitive image inspiration research that goes on in the design world. One constant in the field is a bookmark to Haw-lin's meticulously curated photo blog, populated by perfect jeans, perfect kicks, and perfect tens. Anonymous and mysterious, its only branding is the cryptic title and a very beta smiley face. For a long time I imagined it was the work of some panda bear-obsessed kid living in his parents' basement. But no, Haw-lin is run by two affable art directors from Berlin, Jakob Klein and Nathan Cowen. After the initial contact was made, we were excited to join forces with this talented pair on an OC project. So it is with great excitement that we introduce our latest online editorial, Opening Ceremony's fall collections photographed and styled by Haw-lin Services. Smiley face, indeed!
