OC x LFW: House of Holland SS13

Dark plaids, large floral motifs, beanies, untied boots, and a lot of tie-dye: no, this is not the wardrobe checklist for Empire Records but elements of HENRY HOLLAND's Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Known for his imaginative approach to all things thematic, this season Henry used the 90s as a springboard to catapult him into a world of luxe fabrics and rave-friendly prints. Oversized beanies were bejeweled, leather jackets were upgraded in shiny metallics, and diamond plaids were cast in a chartreuse and maroon (I immediately thought of TAI). Seen across button-downs, dungarees, culottes, and crop tops, the tie-dye story took things to a psychedelic place. But well before the sun-kissed models were sent down the runway did the cameras go ballistic. Yes, the undisputed UK front row champion once again attracted a bevy of glam gals.
