OC x LFW: Acne SS13

Jonny Johansson's use of fabric never fails to impress. In the Acne SS13 show, there were washed silks, lilac snakeskin, and crushed linen, which took the shapes of billowing skirts, dresses, and bell sleeved-blouses. With a color palette that spanned from whites and beiges to electric purples, greens, and even some bright citrus colors, the collection celebrated three elements important to the label's design: collage, music, and the new. These very words appeared on bold street style-inspired slogan T-shirts, which were teamed up with pieces inspired by jockeys and the wild, wild West. Models donned cowboy hats and high leather collars, and yeeee-haws even screeched from the speakers for added effect. Another Acne show, another melange of inspiration and influences resulting in a perfectly covetable and fresh collection.
